The American Graffiti based library of JH is truly impressive. To qualify as resource material, one of the minimum criteria for the publications is that they at least mention or refer to the film. And judging from Volume 16, Number 2 of the Automobile Quarterly, the reference does not necessarily have to be accurate. I've done no personal research on the Mercury pictured below, but I'm pretty sure 'ol Ned's 'Green Flame' was not in American Graffiti. I could be wrong. Nah. It doesn't matter anyway. What's that old saying? "I don't care what they say about me in the paper, as long as they spell my name right."? They did spell American Graffiti correctly.
