This page is dedicated to Steve Bollander's 1958 Chevy in the film American Graffiti. There was only one car used in the movie. There were no back-ups. The car was purchased after filming and is still owned today by Mike Famalette who lives in eastern Washington state.
The American Graffiti 1958 Chevrolet Impala as it is today. Owner Mike Famalette has changed very little on the car since purchasing it after filming finished. His daughter used it during high school, but it has seen a lot of barn time until recently as Mike has begun to show the car more often. Photos by Bill Love.
