And Now For Something Completely Different...

While 'The Naked Milner' is being readied for photography, please enjoy this brief musical interlude...

Hawaii has always had a vibrant and unique music scene not unlike Austin Texas. For anyone who has spent any time in the islands, performers with names such as Cecilio & Kapono, Kalapana, Gabby Pahinui, Raiatea Helm, The Beamer Brothers, Aunty Genoa Keawe, The Sons of Hawaii, and of course 'Bruddah IZ' Israel Kamakawiwo'ole are as well known and beloved as Elvis, The Beatles and Led Zeppein.

Jake Shimabukuro is forging his name onto that list with a mastery of the ukelele previously unseen anywhere in the world. He can play a beautiful Hawaiian standard, whip up some jazz licks reminecent of Django Reinhardt, or rock out like Jimmy Page. He is a true virtuoso.

In this video recorded in Central Park he shows some love for George Harrison. This dude shreads. Aloha.
